I personally don't see him settling back as a position coach but who knows. It was better for him and his capacity than a head coach gig though.

Why do you think he would want O? He isn’t on his current staff. Just because they were drinking buddies doesn’t mean Kiffin wants him on his staff

If Lane is hired, then I’m good with whoever he wants to bring in. I wouldn’t like if he didn’t retain Peoples and Baker but I would get over it quickly. I would be irate if he got rid of Corey

Absolutely not. Coach O is the reason this program is in the state it is in. He destroyed LSU football after 2019. Kelly, actually stabilized it from crumbling but wasn't the guy to win big games. He was a shite hire.

Lane Bring LSU a National Championship and whoever he needs to do this will be fine with fans !!!
However, Orgeron would be too much of a distraction from football and Lane would not make that move !!!!
