I’m not a huge Shapiro guy, but also not a complete hater. Grew up a Rush Baby, but Glenn Beck, Ron Paul, and eventually Shapiro were sort of my gateway into my interest and political formation, so I still respect him despite some of my differences

But watching this clip, I have to say I simply don’t see much hope for reaching a large percentage of the other side of the political divide. Simply put, these people are incredibly stupid and dense. Shapiro is probably not the best person suited for this conversation with these dimwits, not only because he speaks so fast, but at such a high IQ level, they simply don’t get his analogies or what he is trying to say. They go back to their same canned talking points over and over even when they are completely irrelevant to the topic at hand.

And keep in mind, the “Breakfast Club” is viewed as some sort of black version of Rogan, like the gathering of the minds. The Charlemagne dude refers to himself as “Tha God”.

On the abortion issue. I have got to the point when debating this topic, that I simply cannot move forward on the debate if both parties cannot agree to “what constitutes a life or person” and “when it begins”. The other side constantly wants to deflect from this and move on to their other talking points about rape/incest, etc without first tackling the core issue at hand. If we don’t both agree on what is inside the mothers womb, and what an abortion is, then why waste time debating anything beyond that?

Ben on The Breakfast Club? Yeah, that's a bad match of wits.

Plus, like you said, debate is pointless if both sides can't agree on the definition of life or the inherent value thereof.

The marxists knew this. They word shop and whataboutism alot, but they nailed it with this. The abortions conversation will never be solved because they found the nuclear option on this one. The conversation can't even start.

I wish Thomas Sowell was 40 years younger. He would be amazing at his prime in today's political landscape.

On Adam Corolla’s podcast, he said this week (in relation to Whoopi Goldberg and others) that people with “10 cent intellects” are like a dogs.

He described how when dogs are watching you eat something and want some bad, but then find out they don’t actually like it, they simply hold in their mouth for a second and then just let it fall out of their mouth like it never existed.

That’s how these dumb people handle new knowledge that they just don’t understand. Like a dog dropping unwanted food to the floor.

I thought that was hilarious imagery!

How do you think ben shapiro ended up on that show in the first place? They would never speak to him on their own volition. They didn't invite him....the showrunners (their employers did). They are also being paid to ask those specific questions. Its all scripted to look and sound a certain way

That’s not true at all. They’ve been turned over to a reprobate mind. Big difference.

Meh... most anybody is gonna look dense stacked up to Shapiro... but yes, many have been turned over to a reprobate mind- doesn't make them less stupid though.

Because it's possible to be mostly against abortion yet still think that there are times when it's allowed.
I'm not against morning after pills for one.
Or for rape/incest or severe defects.
So to me those points mean more than defining when life begins.

I refuse to give that "show" even one second of my attention.

I tried once a few years back, but discovered quickly that I can't stand the rudimentary pontificating of a medium-IQ black man who named himself after a White King and a deity and named his show after one of the most popular all-white movies of the 1980s.

I won't even bother listing the hilarious torturres I would voluntary endure to not have to watch even a single moment of his podcast.

Seriously, if my white Irish arse started a show called "Wakanda Forever" and named myself "L'carpetron Dookmarriott the Founder of Kwanzaa", should anyone do anything other than mercilessly mock me into self-termination?

Easiest talking point to rebuke. I simply say, "fine, if we're willing to limit abortions to only those scenarios, I don't like it but I can make that compromise. Agreed?" They never agree to that, so I follow up with "then why did you bring that up?" At this point, they usually have no answer and try to move on. Don't let them. Make them defend their belief that abortions should be completely elective, free, and available through all 9 months of pregnancy. We win this debate, and save innocent lives, by making it obvious to normal people that the leftist position is the extreme one.

everything you said is accurate.

there simply is no talking any sense into these people. a very large majority of human beings are just fricking stupid and easily controlled. it's always been this way from the beginning of time.

Probably the saddest end to Rush's legacy is that he fell for that White guilt, and had that racist hobbit on his show.

Ok but before getting to this point, you have to at least acknowledge what is happening during the process.

This doesn’t even make sense. Why even debate or argue if both parties don’t agree what is occurring? You have to define what “it” is first. If both parties agree it is a unique human person, and the process results in the killing of that person, then from there people can have debates whether the killing of that person in certain situations is justified or should be legalized or not.

If one person believes a person is being killed, and the other sees it as the equivalent of a mole being removed. Then why would anyone even need to argue from the position of setting certain parameters like “rape/incest” or “before 3rd trimester, etc

There is no point to debating them because they will always deflect away from the obvious truth that anyone in a NICU could prove in a moment which is that the entity in a women’s womb is in fact a human at a shocking early stage.

They deflect away from it because from that point forward they’re defending infanticide out of sheer selfishness.

They want to murder human babies because to not murder human babies would be inconvenient to them wanting to have unsafe sex with people they don’t want to start a family with.

It also undermines and unravels the entire feminist movement because they want the benefits that their sexuality brings without the natural outcome of that sexuality which is the conception of a human life.

Everything else outside of early detection of birth defects or rape is sheer deflection and self deception.

I see 2 perspectives on the definition of human life:
Per Copilot:
1. heartbeat becomes detectable at 6 weeks
2. the fetus because a sentient being at 32 weeks

So no matter how you spin it, if an abortion is performed near 32 weeks, a sentient human being is being killed.

So, it's a women's choice to decide what she wants to do. How about after the baby is born and he/she becomes too much of a burden for you, would it be OK to kill the baby then? It was a burden to carry the baby to term and you believed it was OK to abort it at any time. What about now? Stupid woman.

Charlamagne tha god is such a POS. You see it every time he carries water for the DNC, while trying to Steven A Smith himself as an 'independent'.

In this conversation, I'm pretty certain they aren't being honest actors talking with Ben.

Hell, Charlamagne probably doesn't even want to talk about pregnancy through rape or incest because he wants to keep his future options (and activities) open.

It’s because the left is wrong.

They have to use extremes to appeal to emotions.

What about incest!
