Its not about being liked. A ton of people that worked with and under saban didn't like him. Not all the players liked him either.

Going for it on 4th down inside your own 30 in the 4th quarter up 12 would certainly make me insane.
While significant, that's really his only red flag, and he has at least cut back somewhat lately with his 4th down aggressiveness. He has also gotten over the all offense/no defense stigma. I don't see how he isn't the first choice.

At Ole Miss. And for the third straight year he will finish with a better record with less overall talent without being in an area with a built in top 10 recruiting class and actually coach a game in the month of November with playoff implications. At Ole Miss. Something Kelly did not even sniff.
Now compare that to reality and everything else out there. Unless you take something of flyer on a position coach such as Baker, its tough to match Kiffins resume.
