His offense is too run heavy imo. It needs to be balanced to thrive in the SEC.

If Florida or LSU could get him, would be such a good hire.

After reading the Grok write up, I am with you on Key. OL coach for three years under Saban at AL. From AL and knows SEC football. Best part :7-1 as a head coach against ranked ACC opponents. He wins the games that matter.

If you could get him, yeah. But gonna be hard to lure him. He’s at his Alma matter, doesn’t have a ton of pressure to win there unlike at a Florida or LSU.

I don’t think he leaves

Only if the top 5 choices decline LSU's interest.

Key would bring some toughness back to the program. I know he’s an alum at GT but how could he pass up the LSU job? GT is probably peaked at the point, they don’t have the administrative support or fanbase

And we wouldn’t have to change the CBK monogrammed hand towels in the locker room.

A buddy of mine who is an alum told me that their athletic department has raised over 400 million in just a few years-raised 80 million last year alone. They are in the process of renegotiating a bigger contract with more money to keep him. GT alum has a lot of money. Based on what he said, Brent key has openly stated he would never leave GT as long as the admin was serious about winning.
