Here’s the breakdown of what happened in regards to Brian Kelly situation

After that embarrassing lost last night big time boosters met up regards to changes possibly being made. Here’s original message today LINK
Once Brian Kelly came in today he was gonna fire Sloan, Davis and Anand. However, once Woodward and Kelly met up about this there was some disagreements in regards to Brian Kelly having full power in the OC search and offensive staff. Highlighting his poor hires such as Sloan and house. Also Brian Kelly was made full aware that he is on the chopping block.
Kelly was not too pleased and things kinda turned south is what I understand. Therefore leading to conversations about negotiations on his departure rather than the original plan.
Now Brian Kelly is on his way out.
The holdup right now is that there are serious negotiations in LSU possibly getting the number down to around 20-25 million.
Also another hold up is all the big time boosters do not want Woodward having full reign on this process. LSU announced 5 candidates for president and that is something that is intriguing in this as well because depending on who it is, Woodward could also be gone.
Bottom line is Brian Kelly will be done here at LSU

It appears from what I have gathered is that Brian Kelly thought he had more time and power than he really did at LSU.
The boosters are fed up. Scotty W is fed up especially after the vacation he took on the bye week

So Kelly can’t hire replacement coaches and Woody can’t hire replacement coaches. It was completely idiotic to go that route. Either you fire them all, or you make them do their job. There is no way Kelly will have a booster pick coaches. I suspect this has already happened early in the Kelly tenure. Brad Davis never seemed like a Kelly guy.
