Those are obviously the 1st two calls.

After that…

Who do you think is the next realistic guy after that?

I assume guys like Dillingham, Golesh etc would get a look

There aren't many great candidates. That's the problem firing Kelly.

Even Lane has issues, and he's the literal top guy this offseason.

Tulane HC too. It really depends, do you want a known from the SEC or do you wanna go cheaper and see how someone adapts to it. Personally I think they go route one because of how NIL is and how good the team could/should be despite the current coaching structure. A question of who gets it done at LSU with LSU resources because there are no perfect candidates, but good Lord does he need to have some nasty and crazy in him because we lack that.

Dillingham is a clown show. That guy wouldn’t last five minutes here.

Am I the only one high on Alex Golesh? I think you go after Lane first, maybe someone like Clark Lea second, and worst case go after Golesh. All have pros and cons. The less you spend on a coach more you can spend on surrounding staff and NIL but we know by now the main guy is the most important piece of the puzzle.

Does Golesh run that gimmick arse UTenn offense or a real offense?

Ultimately that's going to hurt Heupel when he can't put QBs in the NFL

Brent key is a Georgia tech graduate, you're not prying him away from there when they've been able to achieve a degree of success with him at the wheel.

Besides not everybody is cut out to leave the ACC and coach in the SEC. There are miles between ACC good and SEC good.

SFP lane would be absolutely great for LSU

Genius on one side of the ball and would be entertaining as frick. That’s all I care about

This era is just dreadfully boring

In order

Saban (never hurts to ask)
Lanning
Kiffin
Sumrall
Joe Brady if you get that far (he’d be higher but I doubt it’s worth asking)
K Shep: same as Brady.

Until this melt down, Lane had the same issues over the seasons that Kelly has, and Kelly's has a better offensive year in his resume (2023)

Although I'd be all about the LK thirst trap social media posts \
