That’s my question. Why when the backup comes in, we suddenly push the ball down field? Is it Nuss or Sloan that wants the 3 yards out routes

Yes he can and we’ve seen him make it before. LSU simply doesn’t run a lot of downfield plays over the middle because 1) they don’t have the time to or 2) they are worried about Nuss making a bad decision.

agree, but also he came in and threw in garbage time against a defense that was starting to substitute and let off the gas.

You dont understand 8 games into the season that Nuss only throws check downs?
Ive been telling yall for WEEKS that guys are open downfield. Nuss refuses to throw it. Do you realize that almost 80% of Nuss throws are less than 5 yards?
Yall keeping blaming Sloan and Im telling you right now, he ain't the problem yall think. Nuss makes up close to 70% of our issues.

If Nuss isn’t making the throws that Sloan calls and Sloan and Kelly don’t replace him, the blame falls on the leaders. They aren’t replacing Nuss so they are ok with his performance.

He still attacked the middle of the field immediately, which for whatever reason Nuss refuses to do

If you call plays like that for Nuss he throws 3 picks a game. Probably 4.
The QB is the problem not the guy trying to call a game to minimize how shitty your QB is.
