"The enhanced U.S. force presence in the USSOUTHCOM AOR will bolster U.S. capacity to detect, monitor, and disrupt illicit actors and activities that compromise the safety and prosperity of the United States homeland and our security in the Western Hemisphere," the Pentagon says
"These forces will enhance and augment existing capabilities to disrupt narcotics trafficking and degrade and dismantle TCOs."

They’re leaving the Med to head towards Venezuela. They literally just deployed to the Med earlier this month, and are now being called back already. Shite may be about to pop off.

I'm a veteran and I can't figure out why an entire strike group is being moved to combat narco boats. This feels like fogging your house because you saw a bug by the front door. Something else is happening
