A lot of insiders at Tennessee say this was an issue between Tony V and their AD which made the Giants decision a little easier.

Is Scott doing enough to keep the only coach on campus that’s competent?

Absolutely Not.

He’s getting 2% and women’s basketball 5%. In no world should women’s basketball get more rev share than baseball.

I actually wouldn’t expect anything less in this fricked up world we live in. Same with softball getting more scholarships than baseball

To be fair its been that way since before the world was as fricked up. And that's not a Woodward or LSU specific thing.

I've heard this thrown around as well.

Honestly, I love LSU Baseball, I'm definitely more of a fan than an expert, but I'm usually always in the TD game threads and been a fan when I had to watch ESPN 2am highlights of CWS back in the mid-80s.

That said, I don't think sports that are net negative should reign over any distributed funds. WBB is probably the best example. You shouldn't be in the red for $9 mil after a NC season. I appreciate Kim and Jay so much, and I think the donors in those sports are and will be full-on. However, if LSU is directing the rev share, then I'd put it all into FB and MBB. That's the return on investment.

Football and men’s basketball are only 2 sports that should get money the other sports should rely on private donors

No baseball teams are getting $ they deserve

I don’t think mlb is gonna start hiring every college coach

Most college coaches don’t want the pressure mlb jobs entail

Jay is making close to what Vitello is with giants and without that pressure

I feel like NIL will make up the gap here. Plus we have TOPS for in-state guys.

I don't think LSU is gonna get behind the curve on baseball.

Winners don't feel pressure.

And if and when they do, they see it as an opportunity.

Geaux Coach Jay Johnson.

Eta. Pay that rev share
Eta2. Pay that man

I'm so ready for Spring

Idiots on here have complained about Title IX in sports forever, yet use that to justify their next argument. The hypocrisy is outstanding.

Also, not one of these posters were LSU baseball fans in 1980.

A friend of mine said Tenner has the same total breakout as LSU, but that baseball is getting 4% of the 5% for other sports. I told him I don’t think that LSU would be that high, as it doesn’t leave anything for the minor sports.
