Was picking up a few things at Walmart the other day and decided to try getting Ivermectin OTC since I thought that had become legal back in June.
The lady kind of rolled her eyes, went to the back then told me "we don't know how to do that."

I said, "isn't it over the counter?"

- "Yeah but the pharmacist still has to write you a prescription for it. Walmart doesn't do that yet."

This sound right to y'all?
Did I do something wrong here? I thought I had bought OTC cough medicine before and it wasn't a prescription, just a license check to make sure I wasn't Walter White.

File a complaint with LDH or the board that governs pharmacies. Should be OTC now due to state law.

Don’t listen to this guy. Abraham and LDH are the ones requiring pharmacists to screen before selling ivermectin. It’s OTC in that you don’t need a doctor’s script to purchase but there is a process to buy that will piss off anyone who is expecting to grab it off the shelf.

So prior to covid this drug was readily available to humans and considered very safe to use.

And now post covid this drug is readily available and considered safe to use.

But DURING covid, at the slightest hint that this drug, readily available and cheap, might, just might help fight off covid, was suddenly considered dangerous to humans, called horse paste, and physicians literally risked losing their license if they wrote prescriptions for it.

Can someone on the left explain to me, like I'm 5, how this is possible? I'm quite eager to see the mental gymnastics on this one.

I thought it was only available as a paste or so such?

Personally, I think it should be on the shelf in gallon jugs so people can drink it at will. Also make it available as suppositories, that way they can drink it and stick it up their asses.

Fauci owned Remdesivir stock. He couldn’t make any money on Ivernectin.

That's because that's what your evil overlords told you to think. Here are the facts:

Before the COVID-19 pandemic, ivermectin was used for humans primarily as an antiparasitic drug to treat infections caused by certain parasitic worms and, in topical forms, for head lice and some skin conditions. The drug's discovery was so impactful that it led to a Nobel Prize in 2015.

Key human uses of ivermectin before 2020 included:

Onchocerciasis (River Blindness): This was one of the drug's most significant and well-known uses, particularly in large-scale public health programs sponsored by Merck & Co. and the World Health Organization (WHO). Starting in 1988, Merck began donating ivermectin for treating this disease, which is transmitted by black flies and can cause severe skin conditions and blindness.

Lymphatic Filariasis (Elephantiasis): In 1998, Merck expanded its donation program to include ivermectin for treating this tropical disease, which is also caused by parasitic worms.

Strongyloidiasis: The oral tablet version of ivermectin was approved by the FDA for treating intestinal infections caused by the parasitic roundworm Strongyloides stercoralis.

Scabies: Oral ivermectin was commonly used as an effective off-label treatment for scabies, particularly for cases that did not respond to topical treatments, immunocompromised patients, and institutional outbreaks.

Head Lice: A topical (lotion) formulation of ivermectin was approved to treat head lice infestations.

Rosacea: A topical (cream) version of ivermectin was approved to treat rosacea, an inflammatory skin condition.

Before the pandemic, ivermectin was well-established as a safe and effective treatment for these specific parasitic infections and skin conditions, with its use primarily focused on these FDA-approved indications. The subsequent surge in misinformation and use of ivermectin for COVID-19 was a new development and contrary to its established medical applications.

What’s more is Remdesivir had JUST spectacularly FAILED trials for Ebola... it had failed trials for something else to and was about to be dust-binned.

Well I'm part horse, so...

I paid attention during covid. There were countries where Ivermectin was taken as a viral prophylactic and it was highly effective.

It comes in pill form, when it's not from Tractor Supply.

Have you tried routine, daily exercise, sweating, and eating a clean/healthy diet?

You're an idiot, and you don't know me.
Actually yes to all that. I've really only gotten a cold 2 times in 5 years, so my diet, exercise, food and vitamin are working pretty well. Thanks for your concern.

Back on topic, I asked a pretty simple question about how to obtain something that is legal, harmless, cheap and potentially beneficial.
If you have an answer about what "over the counter" is supposed to mean (for any medication) that would be appreciated.
I legit didn't know if I was missing a step and did something wrong, or if Walmart is still living under the order of Fauci.

Can you expound on this?
I believe this is probably what I would like more information about.

I’ll answer for them. It’s simple. President Trump said it might be good for you so all the shills went contrary. No science. No logic. Just OMB

It may be legal but the pharmacy may not stock it. Private biz. I wonder why they might not sell it?
