- The fire brian kelly non stop
- boycotting the game
- acting like the sky is falling

Sure seems a difference in these post of the rational vs non-sense irrational post on these subjects over and over.

The latter seems to be the 30 years or younger crew or newer to lsu football or just signed up for an account on tiger droppings in last 5 to 8 years

Yes there is major concern. But the level of madness is premature till we go 7-6 or something.

But curious if there’s a significant difference between the new Tiger fans showing up on here and not showing at the stadium based on being newer to Tiger football

Some are questioning your age due to your grammar. Are you a toddler?

LSU has put up with being pretty mediocre for the past 5 years. We were told this was an all in year and they were "keeping receipts". It was going to be a championship team.

Then we see them play and they are just not a good football team. When you get hyped up on a year being all in and they fail losing to OM and Vandy with your hardest games still coming up, it is a bad sign and hard to be excited about the future.

Our talent level will almost certainly drop off next year too.

LSU Grad.

BK served his purpose of putting out a huge public relations and roster dumpster fire. However with the program stabilized it has also played very stale football. Games are not fun to watch anymore. He seems old, cranky and tired now. Very stubborn as well. I thank him for the rescue of the program but now he has to go if LSU wants to be competitive in recruiting, NIL and making the playoffs.

If you are sincere, you should edit and state your age and the year your fandom started.

The present day game has passed him by. Time to move on. Hope he'll negotiate a doable buyout but he's as arrogant as they come. Make his life miserable is all you can do.

68 yr old. Fan since 69. He gets the rest of the year. If we lose 2 more he should be gone. Hire a young coach and back load his salary based on results.

He will make excuses for the failure this year then sell us empty promises for making 2026 more competitive and stronger. Unless the magic donors come up with the kings ransom for his buyout, we are stuck will old man Kelly for hopefully no more than two years. The problem is the new coach will have his hands full trying to steer the ship back on course.

I started paying attention as a kid in the late 70s, early 80s. They weren't on TV consistently, so I had to listen to the games on the radio often.

Some of the best/worst memories, listening to the raining oranges game in '82 against FSU and celebrating and then listening to losing to Tulane the very next week. Dalton James gang. When we played backyard football, I pretended to be Alan Risher.

As I stated in an earlier LSU MBB thread, I started LSU in the fall of '89. You had to camp out to get tickets to MBB in the PMAC and TS was half empty for SEC games (prior to stadium expansion). That was the end of the Archer (2nd to last season) and Hallman took over in '91. The apathy surrounding the program was unbearable.

Anyone that didn't live through those times really has no perspective on how things can go bad very quickly if ignored.

79 years old. LSU grad. Long time season ticket holder. Not impressed with BK this season but a 50+million buyout is simply crazy. Suck it up and deal with it. I’ve lived through Mike Archer and Curly Hallman. Stop being a bunch of pussies. We’re going to have to live with him for a few years and hope for the best.

65 years old, fan since 1970, he has a combination of unappealing characteristics including being arrogant, condescending, aloof at times, un accountable, constantly deflecting, and at the same time almost woke. Doesn't seem to be part of the team or the locker room by his being completely distanced from anyone else on the team or coach coaches. Also not emotionally connected with fans or the team. If he loses the last three SEC games, then let'sbe done with this guy

You must not have been a fan in the 90s. These are the same exact conversations that were being had at tailgates and in the office back then. The only difference is that there wasn’t the Internet back then.

Almost 65.
Went to my first game in 1961 I think. 1962 at the latest. Obviously I don’t remember.

I don’t post that I think he needs to go, but I won’t be sad if he does. He seems too stubborn to admit what the issues are and/or is reluctant to make the necessary changes in either a particular game or season.

I won’t boycott any game, but I am considering whether I will renew my season tickets. This product is not worth the price.
