vs an undefeated #3 Texas A&M

In spite of all the negativity going on right now, imagine he pulls it off.
“Lost the fanbase”
“Can’t win the big game”

Before now his biggest win was @ #4 Clemson (meh, preseason rankings, now they’re 3-4).
He also beat #6 Bama in 2022.

Speaking of 2022, his unranked 5-2 team beat two top 10 teams in a row to get to 7-2

His biggest win will be when he is collecting a massive buyout and not having to work

A&M is vastly over rated, as was that Ole Miss team you’re referencing.

Beating Alabama in 2022 was sick as frick and I really thought he was a grand slam hire after that win.

That win seems farther away than 2019 does now

If it means nothing in terms of the season, than it is not bigger than beating Alabama. Don't care about rankings.

I just don’t think it matters unless he wins out. He could beat A&M and miss the playoff and I kinda think it makes him look worse.

We never were the spoiler. It’s just not our role. To be the spoiler is to admit your program is less than. It’s a bad look.

I agree. I think LSU is gonna beat Aggie pretty convincingly to the point our playoff hopes come back to life during the bye week so that when Bama curb stomps us in T Town it causes maximum pain and heartbreak. I’ve been following this team long enough to know how this stuff goes.

This team has underachieved in an embarrassing fashion

Beating aTm would be nice, but in the grand scheme of things it would be a hollow victory and do nothing to advance the program.

All it would do is build false hope on the fan base only to dashed 2 weeks from now in Tuscaloosa, or worse 3 weeks from now vs Arkansas

If A&M jumps on us early I don’t see it, crowd won’t exactly be friendly at that point

And Kelly isn’t a rally the troops kind of guy, I think team buy in is at an all time low. I expect the D to play hard, but the offense now has injuries mounting on top of the shitty scheme and talent issues.

Serious question. Why do you think this.

We haven’t beat anyone “convincingly” this year besides SLU.

We haven’t scored more than 24 vs anyone but SLU

If anything we might get a close win but how can you honestly think it will be “convincingly” which implies a blowout?

DJ Chester will be starting at left tackle. Sloan will be calling the game on offense. Texas A&M has a running QB who absolutely torched us with his feet last year and we have demonstrated that we are still incapable of stopping running QB's.

LSU ain't winning this game.

This is a bold thought to have considering we have what is probably the worst offensive line play in the power conferences and A&M has a great defensive front.

I sadly think that this is BK's annual blowout game.

Did you watch the a&m-Arkansas game last week? The aggies have some major issues on both sides of the ball that were exposed. This is also their second conference road game in a row.

Kelly is 23-2 at home at LSU. The man has proven he can win games in tiger stadium. He’s yet to prove he can win big time road games outside of Clemson who ended up being terrible
