The campiness and mid-2000s nostalgia is perfect. My only question is dean and sam seem like superheroes basically through 7 episodes. Do they ever get hit up by the government? These dudes should be taking on Isis

Good series and great music. Towards the end, these two dudes hated each other.

This is addressed at the very end of the series.

Don't listen to the people who will tell you to stop watching after season 5. Season 6 is kinda weak but so is season 1 and 2. There's plenty of great stuff after that.

Never caught on with me for some reason. I think partly it was because I had recently watched Buffy and Angel and wasn’t ready to revisit the demons and magic-themed world.

But then visiting friends, I was stuck watching with them and to my surprise I really enjoyed it. I’ve caught a couple of episodes, but I never really sat down and watched it start to finish. Not yet at least.

my favorite thing is how nonchalant they become about fighting demons and ghost

The meeting with Death is probably the most intense scene ever imagined on the CW

What’s awesome is that Jensen Ackles is legit. He’s the lead singer in a band and has done a duet with Corey Taylor from Slipknot. He’s a legit rocker.

dude they start the show that way but yes I love that as well. I think that’s really what sets it apart from any other show I’ve watched. There is no 1st season of learning on the job or being scared of shite. When the show starts these guys have been killing ghouls and goblins for over 20 years, so nothing phases them, they just figure out what it is and start fricking shite up.

Going to give this show a shot and report back. I need something a little less intense after watching Task

Great freaking show. One of my favorites.

Final seasons aren't good, but seasons 1-6 make up for it.

Enjoy the ride brethren. As already stated. Was originally only supposed to be 5 seasons so it goes off the rails a bit after season 5 but it comes back around eventually.

They both basically have other supernatural\chosen one forces that come and go in the seasons that kinda keep them going in the background.

I would give up quite a lot to be able to rewatch this show for the first time. Just a pleasure to watch

If I remember correctly all the seasons are like 20 episodes long and ~45 minutes each. Takes a while to knock it all out.

Just googled. Ove 320 episodes at 40-45 minutes a pop. May the journey begin!

I liked it a lot better when it was mostly Monster of the week. It got tiresome in some of the last few seasons.

I like him in pretty much everything. He's fun as the brother in Tracker.

The other guy from Supernatural played the lead in that new Walker series.

On my rewatch. I used a filler episode guide to skip the monster of the week episodes. On season 10.

Discovered the show late in it's run. Covid totally screwed up the finale.

Interestingly, I took a picture of Baby at a custom vehicle shop near my house some time before I discovered the show. I just thought it was a cool car because it looked pretty good for a big four-door.
(sorry, can't post the pic)

What's odd is that the show was mostly filmed in Vancouver and I live in SoCal.

Chuck wasn't supposed to have as big of a role as he did lol. Was perfect in 5th season.
