I happened to tune into Public Radio Seattle this morning since the Hawks are on MNF tonight.
After about 20 minutes of discussing how the National Guard might be deployed there and whether Rennis should delay his Gender Affirmation Counseling session because of it, Seanathan Abernathy asked whether former Seattle QB Geno Smith is *still* a top 15 QB despite his struggles because of all the terrible rookie and young QBs you listed. Rennis didn’t quite agree, but the fact it’s even debatable is shocking

Hark! I caught the same segment whilst stuck in traffic en route to the private wing of Baton Rouge Metropolitan airport alternatively known as BR Jet. Silly driver should have taken 110 but i digress. Roaro Kleebenschnott made a wonderful point about the fall off in scouting at the position. Some of these youngsters don’t receive nearly the requisite repetitions at collegiate level these days. Astounding!

They did mention that what Geno is doing, as a black QB in the NFL, boosts him up 5-7 spots.

Felicia X Two Feathers wanted to discuss Sam Darnold's possible ancestral connection to the transatlantic slave trade but Roaro pointed out that while there's no evidence of that, the white privilege he exhibited by taking the job from Geno Smith without an acknowledgment of his privilege is the real point of discussion

Nix had 327 total yards, and 4 TD’s yesterday. He led his team back from down 19 in the 4th Quarter, by scoring 33 points in the 4th yesterday.

I have not watched a ton of Geno Smith's games, but it seemed like he was at least competent and had established himself as a legit starter....right before he just totally fell off a cliff.
