No. 20 LSU (5-2, 2-2) will face No. 3 Texas A&M (7-0, 4-0) in Tiger Stadium on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 6:49pm CT, and the game will air on ABC.
LSU is coming off a tough 31-24 loss at Vanderbilt last Saturday, while Texas A&M edged Arkansas in a 45-42 shootout.
LSU leads the overall series with Texas A&M 36-24-3. The home team has dominated the series recently, winning each of the last seven matchups. Click here for the complete series history.
Betting line: Texas A&M -2.5 | Over/Under: 48.5 points
Team Stats (National rankings in parenthesis):
Tidbits from press conferences:
- LSU only had 49 offensive plays against Vanderbilt...Vanderbilt had 20 more plays.
- Aggie DE Cashius Howell leads the conference with 8.5 sacks.
- LT Tyree Adams is out for the Texas A&M game. Chester and Curne will get reps at Left Tackle at practice this week, but looks like Chester will get the start due to him having more experience.
- Kelly said the full injury report will come out on Wednesday.
UPDATE:
- Ashton Stamps and Jardin Gilbert are being held out to preserve eligibility. They can each play in one more game this season and still maintain their redshirt status.

Brian Kelly says DL Bernard Gooden practiced on Tuesday, although he did not do everything, but they worked him in. He felt good this morning.
BK says Weeks is still non-weight-bearing, still in a boot. They won't know his status until later in the week.
- Ashton Stamps and Jardin Gilbert are being held out to preserve eligibility. They can each play in one more game this season and still maintain their redshirt status.

“Hey, Coach. Your guys seemed to really rally after Zavion’s long TD and the 2pt that followed with Green. What do you make of that performance and your teams moxy in that situation?”

The media is scared of Kelly after his post-Florida outburst. I dare them to get some balls.

Joe figured we’d follow that momentum up with a WR screen 7 yards behind the line of scrimmage to the left. He said they wouldn’t see it coming.

Quite a tone shift in this press conference to his usual demeanor. He sounds scared and nervous.

if only LSU had a 6'7 match up nightmare that the QB could just throw it up to instead of a tightend that we have to draw up cute RPOs to get open

He is going to beat the shite out of Chester and/or Davis

Howell is about to break an NCAA record for sacks in a game

How loud are the boos going to be in Tiger Stadium this Saturday if they’re trailing at the half.

Doesn't want to throw Curne in because of Howell from a&m but how do you believe Chester is up to it when time and again he lets you down?
