Go listen to the show before judging off of a 30 second clip. All of his cohosts on that show believe that a $50 million buyout is “nothing” and he simply knows that’s not true. That’s what he is partially referring to.

I think initially BK wanted to get that NC on his resume and he was hungry. All he had to do here was clean up some things, put a border around the state, and win a title after a few years just as his 3 predecessors did…then NIL/portal era really changed the game, suddenly LSU doesn’t have the built in advantages it’s enjoyed in the past, and this is a much more difficult job than Kelly thought he was taking and he has no desire to do it.
He’s now fine playing CEO from afar and enjoying his money. LSU can do nothing to motivate him due to the stupid fricking contract we agreed to

So bring him back one more year which will probably be worse than this season, and save about 10 million.
