Everybody is getting rid of their coach

FSU is reportedly getting ready to fire Norvell. Scott Woodward is a clown. The man has single handedly taken the two major college sports (football and basketball) and reduced them to rubble. I don't see how he has any defenders at this point.

The people getting fired have been much worse than Kelly as much as I want him gone.

BKs buyout is structured over time, through then end of the contract. Currently it’s 90% of remaining, ie a discount to firing him. If he gets another job, it’s offset by that. So, if we fire him while all these other coaches are getting fired, he could be picked up by another team and get us out…just saying.

I mean I tend to agree but there are some desperate schools and he is still a big name, winning record (as of now for this season anyways). Belichick likely is out at UNC as well. So that 4 big schools looking. Better than doing it when those school lock in someone. Some teams want to be good enough and BK can do that for a few more years.

Penn State did make the playoffs last year and have been solid the last few seasons. But the others I agree with.

Jimmy Sexton is about to leverage raises for every one of his clients and will reset the cap for coaches' salaries once again.
Next year it will cost us 12-14 million a year to replace Kelly.
