...but assistant coaches will be fired. Sloan will be the first. Hankton and Davis should be very likely. This seems to be the process. The HC will always have a chance to address personnel.

He doesn’t need to fire Sloan, just demote him back to QB coach and co-recruiting coordinator and go do his due diligence and find a Joe Brady type. Someone who is young and creative who can put these talented players in the right position to succeed. Also go find an elite OLine coach. Someone who can take 5 kids who have never played together and make them an elite line that can run block and pass block. Start there then go get a dual threat QB and do away with the pocket passers. The game doesn’t fit that type of QB anymore.

Or just hire a new OC and let him find a QB coach who he approves and fits what he is trying to teach and install.

That will happen but it won’t work.LSU fans better get ready for at least 1 more year of garbage football. We all need to get a hobby for a couple of years on the Saturdays in the fall.

Our only hope is that CBK is tired and ready to retire

LSU went all in this season and fell flat on their face.

CBK knows next year potentially could be real ugly with all the roster turnover.

He might say he’s done

TV gig, protect his legacy all that.

roster turnover.

On offense that will be a positive development. New QB who by default will be better and since we cant develop O lineman just go buy 5, C, 2 Gs, 2Ts.

And a RB that doesnt wear glasses.

The NFL has sucked for years and still fans show up. People are addicted to football.

Davis definitely needs to go based on how the OL looks and Hankton is the Co-OC. How do we have Co-OCs and such a miserable offensive product? You'd think between the two of them and BK that they could come up with something better than this BS. But no.

Im good with it. NCAA football, is not the same anymore. Everything that made it distinct and separate from the NFL is gone and everything that is wrong with the NFL is amplified in college football by NIL! The NIL money and portal has ruined the sport!

If true, he better announce that shite soon. I wouldn’t want to start a coaching search in January.

You seriously think Sloan is going to take a demotion?

There is a point where the loss in revenue will project to be worse than the cost of the buyout. If we push them over this line, he will be gone

Firing Sloan, Davis and hiring replacements is going to be expensive as well. We also need to spend a ton to fix our offense as far as players. Just make Kelly coach with what he has in place. He is a lame duck coach for the next couple of years anyway.

I disagree. The big money guys who help with NIL and fund his contract. See the writing on the wall. They raised a lot of money for this year and he has produced an average SEC football team. The offense is almost worst in SEC. Haven’t played the toughest part of your schedule and you have 2 losses

Also your other “wins” are not blowing out and putting teams away. You should win against UF by 21 at home with 5 picks. You look lack luster on offense at home against a soft USC east team
Then when you play teams who have offenses who have a pulse can’t when shoot outs

The NIL collective will suffer until the stakeholders ban together and have the courage to cut ship. Maybe if they’re lucky BK pulls a Derek Carr and retires after the end of the year.

Word is he took a vacation during the bye week.
