Correct. I still think a large portion of the LSU fanbase fails to realize how historic JD's 2023 was, because of the Nuss Buss and the overall record (due to the D)

Are you arguing that there wasn’t part of the fanbase that felt that way?
Hell bayoubaw84 argued last year about Daniels not being that good and trousertrout all through a heisman season.
3/4 of the way through the season when the tune changed it was “well he finally did the things we told him to do” as if his detractors had something to do with it

JD made our RB running game that year. BK has had a shitty RB run game every year at LSU from
JD, Nabers, and Thomas just made up for the staff's incompetence

Nah. We had Malik and BTJ. We have at least 3 dudes on this roster who could have been in thr NFL if Nuss wasnt 1 for 19 on throws over 25 yards.
Our fans dont like it, and keep blaming Sloan, but we have changed our offense for Nuss and his "injury". You dont have 2 WRs who have been clocked at 23 MPH and never run 4 Verts. Sloan might not be great, but I promise you hes not a complete idiot. He's just another BK scapegoat.

Nobody runs an offense on a BK team without BK controlling it. His OCs are puppets.

Daniels had some really bad games at the start of the 2022 season. You pretty much had a QB room full of unknowns then.
Right now you have a 5th year senior QB who everybody knows is bad. There’s a difference.

There was a reason that Kelly chose Daniels over Nissmeier. Think about it. Kelly inherited Nussmeier, Daniels was in the portal, Kelly did not hesitate to start Daniels over Nussmeier once he arrived. Daniels was not a great passer his first year, but he was good enough and he had the running ability to overcome line weaknesses.....or lack of a running game.
