Does anyone on this board still support Woody?

Surely he can’t hire the next football or basketball coach.

He needs to go. If we can’t fire Kelly, surely we can fire Woodward for hiring Kelly and basically destroying the program.

I never have and that was set in stone when her threw the basketball team into the graveyard. He's a hack who overspends and under delivers
He needs to go before LSU needs to replace McMahon and Kelley. And that time is at the end of these seasons. One is over due and the other is due

People support him cause baseball and womens basketball. Baseball was a great hire but it still loses money overall. I couldn’t give two shits about womens basketball. His history with football hires shoud have him fired

The only reason he has any support is the Jay Johnson hire.

He needs to thank his lucky stars for Jay and Kim. No way I trust him hiring the next football coach though

He effed up with the Burger King

On a board full of irrational fans, most of whom have no idea what the function of an AD is supposed to be other than hiring a coach, I would expect a broad spectrum of opinions, much of which would be driven by the state of the football program.

Frankly, nobody cares about women's hoops relative to football. Do I want them to win? You betcha but I certainly don't give care enough to care. He hired Johnson....ok, he found one. His job is to run the athletic department, not 1/5 of it. What if you nailed 20% of you work responsibilities but crippled your company for the other 80%? You probably wouldn't work there too long.
Fans don't care about how well he can manage the departments budget. Donor support may have a ripple effect though. The donors drive the bus

I understand his goal in going after BK, invest heavily in coaching and facilities and leaning heavily on local talent has been a winning formula for lsu football.
His issue was not understanding the landscape was quickly changing from under us with NIL coming, those advantages were nullified a bit

No. He hands out huge contracts and doesn’t hold coaches feet to the fire. Can’t control the game day experience. Everything is more expensive and has become a worse product since he took over. And he has handcuffed us.

He held coaches feet to the fire….the ones he didn’t hire at least

Woody like all other members of academia. No business sense. That is signing coaches to 10 year expensive contracts with no escape clause if coach proves to be a failure after a few years

I'm not making fun of Ross Bjork anymore. Can't.

Let Woody run the non rev sports(gymnastics, WBB, even Baseball it may turn a little profit with the Nattys) but not your money makers!
FB & MBB fund your entire Department and in those 2 he has a F!
The O debacle to giving away the store with 10yrs to BK! Don’t even need to discuss MBB bending over to a toothless NCAA! Kansas straight up laughed at them and had snoop make a song to humiliate them.
Pathetic and I am not a BB fan just don’t like the NCAA!

All these schools have no business leaders that know profit and loss. Just academic idiots handing out these long term contracts with no performance requirements and escape clauses to end contract in schools favor if coach is abject failure like LSU and Auburn now have.

There's definitely some here who can't connect revenue-generating versus non-revenue generating sports.

Never have and never will.

That's only half of it now. NIL changed that. We need La talent but 60+% of your major contributors are developed players from other teams.
