I’m no a X’s and O’s guy, and
LSU got outplayed and out coached, but Vandy got away with some MASSIVE amounts of holding. A whole bunch of big plays that should have been a loss of yards. It’s unreal how much they got away with.

With the way the D played yesterday, not like it would’ve mattered. Just would’ve padded Pavia’s stats as he scrambles for 10 extra yards.

I believe the refs got a call about how to call the game and who to favor. Remember this is “entertainment”

No doubt about it. The refs certainly controlled that game as the storyline played out for the commentators.

Kinda related, there was a PI flag on LSU that got picked up. Was the ball tipped or something?

There were holds that did not get called. But this team was outplayed in just about every respect. LSU lost to focused, more physical, and better prepared team.

Watch the highlights and keep an eye out for it, absolutely changed the outcome of the game. When the holds result in Pavia being able to scamper down the field and score because the man that was going to make the tackle is either wrapped up or dragging a Vandy lineman by his shirt.

It’s a momentum killer plain and simple. No one is blaming the refs for us losing but it certainly contributed that there were so many no-calls

Offensive holding, especially this year in most games I have been watching seems to be de-emphasized. But it does get called sometimes in the most subjective applications.

Officiating is just not calling it. It’s kind of like a redefinition of what the infraction is.

It’s a fact of life in the SEC happens every play on Offense! The lSU fat soft lineman aren’t quick enough to even grab the other guys when they run by Chester just waves and falls on his arse!
That’s Brad Davis coaching them UP!

The holding calls on sharp and Davis were borderline at best. That’s the only thing that has me upset about the Vanderbilt no calls. If you’re gonna let Vanderbilt get away with holding all game, you can’t then turn around and call borderline holds on LSU.

The holding call on Davis ended the game

The fix was in from Birmingham.

That said, it may not have mattered if those penalties were called.LSU was not winning that game due to too much ineptness.

Unbelievable amount of FGs!

You score TDs you win.

Perkins missed an unbelievable amount of tackles and had blown assignments.

Front 4 is SOFT ASF, zero pressure all game.
