I saw this in a N.O. based magazine my wife brought home a couple days ago.
I mean the guys now 83 and worth over $1Billion between investments, royalties and other moneymaking ventures. For the life of me I can't see what the draw would be other than for some to see this old geezer on stage before he no longer exists.
Oh, and ticket prices are all over the place with some preferred areas in the thousands of dollars per seat........insane.

From all accounts, he still puts on a great show, often jamming for 3 hours.
What does his net worth have to do with anything?
The Rolling Stones and plenty of other wealthy artists still tour.

Paul’s voice is a lot worse for the wear (as you said, he’s 83 LOL) but his chops are intact and his band is tight tight. And his songs are rock classics. Seems like a winning combo to me

It’s criminal the prices of these shows.

You can't see the draw of seeing a concert by a living Beatle? A person who has probably generated more smiles, happiness and enjoyment than any other human who ever existed? Really?
And WTF does his net worth have to do with whether or not someone would want to go?
You're an idiot.

I'm taking my dad and he could not be more excited. The first CDs he bought me in fifth grade were Sgt Peppers and the White album.

I saw him over a decade ago and it was a top 5 show of any artist that I've ever seen. I'm seeing him again on this tour. Not looking forward to it as much this time since his voice has declined a bit, but still...it's Paul McCartney. How can anyone not be excited to see him?

I’ve got tix. I’m glad to go see a living legend. Not great seats, but I’ll be in the building. Seeing Paul McCartney in person. Can’t wait!

His band is great and just seeing him still is an amazing thing in itself. You won’t have any regrets if you go

The Beatles have so much lore and content to dig into. The Beatles are a category all to themselves, like them or not.
McCartney is the biggest remaining flag bearer of it all, and it's natural to want to see the "closest thing" before it's all just history.
And, at least 5-6 years ago when I went, it was a fantastic show.

Saw him in Lexington a few years ago. One of my top 5 concerts of all time, and I’ve seen many. You’ll love it!

He's the living king of music and arguably the greatest songwriter who's ever lived.
Show some goddamn respect.

I've long maintained that the day he passes from this realm will be the day that the music truly dies.
And I am not looking forward to that day.

Seeing a Beatle live is not something I ever thought would happened given they broke up when I was 9. My older sisters were in the middle of Beatle mania in the early 60's so I saw it (saw them swoon over them on Ed Sullivan) through them not necessary the music itself.
As I became a teen I developed a a deep respect for all they did. The way I see it, they led the revolution that Elvis started.
