You're right about auctioning off seized property/land. It depends on the agency involved, U.S. Marshals Service or U.S. Department of the Treasury.
I agree, it does get murky on where the proceeds go.

Needs to go a step further and remove the barriers that are forcing inherited family farms to be sold off to developers. Farm land is a finite resource that is permanently removed from production when farms are bought up and massive developments are built on top of them.

As a resident of the great state of Oklahoma where Chini is buying up farmland all over the damn place to grow illegal weed, lace it and distribute it to the American populace and send all the profits back to the CCP, I wholeheartedly support this.
I will say, though, they they better add PLENTY of verbiage to make the determination of "CCP-linked" much more tangible and identifiable. Something like "no foreign national who is not at least a dual-citizen may own land in the USA", you know, like every other first-world nation does. If not, Chini is just going to make straw purchases everywhere.
