They’ll just see a headline on their preferred Trump hating news source that says gas prices are at record highs and spout that confidently, self-respect be damned.

Prices during peak of pandemic, not before. This is when many refineries shutdown rather than lose money. Those remaining open lost money in 2020. So few people were buying..

Gas prices have just hit their lowest level of 2025 — and, in some areas, their lowest levels since the peak of the pandemic four years ago

And they will push lower as OPEC continues its Trump approved decimation of the US oil production sector.

Yes, that is correct.

At the World Economic Forum meeting in Davos in January of 2025, Trump urged Saudi Arabia and OPEC to increase oil production to lower prices. Beginning this summer, Saudi Arabia and OPEC began production increases that will continue month over month. The result is an international oversupply of crude that is pushing the market price down to levels we have not seen since the pandemic.

This will significantly harm US oil production by making it less expensive to buy foreign oil than to produce domestically.

Yes, Trump not only approved this move, he directly asked for it. And it will have a significant negative effect on domestic production.

National energy emergency declared as part of the executive order Trump signed on his first day as US President.

THE FINDINGS
Findings by The FactCheckHub show that the claim is TRUE.

Immediately after his inauguration on January 20, 2025, one of the executive orders signed by Trump (according to the list of Presidential actions on The White House website) include declaring a national energy emergency. In the order, he noted that the United States’ capacity for identifying, leasing, developing, producing, transporting, refining, and generating energy and critical minerals is insufficient to meet the nation’s requirements.

Multiple media reports from The Washington Post, Reuters and The Guardian quoted Trump saying that the nation’s inadequate energy supply and infrastructure was attributed to the harmful and shortsighted policies of the previous administration, and thus exacerbates high energy prices that severely impact Americans, especially those on low and fixed incomes.

THE VERDICT
The claim that Trump declared a national energy emergency as part of the executive order he signed on his first day as US president is TRUE, according to the list of presidential actions and multiple media reports. LINK

Interesting. So thus far every single decision and move and action that Trump has taken has and/or will have an extremely adverse impact on the American economy and/or have a direct adverse impact on the citizens of this country?

Adverse impacts everywhere, no exceptions.

Leftists have no soul. I guess it comes with how many cocks are sucked?

1) Trump barring imports thru tariffs is just plain wrong
2) Trump opening OPEC markets to consumers is just plain wrong

DIMs are liars on every single topic, I guess

And inflation is still out of control, wages down, unemployment high, monetary policy is fricked. I don’t see how we get out of this.

And with energy prices so low, you have to ask yourself how is that product costs are so inflated?

Intentional globalist interventions?

Its like the pandemic, if they can work to keep America from being a success story, then they can make the transition to a global governing system actually easier. And even demanded by the American people

The intelligent among us will immediately note that the meager bit of information that you’ve presented is glaringly lacking in context and the full set of facts/information. I don’t know if that’s purposeful, I suppose it would actually be better for you if it were. Otherwise, you’re out of your depth.

Fwiw

Under Biden our daily production went from 12.5 mm barrels per day to 13.2mm barrels per day.
For 2025 through September, we produce 13.44 mm barrels per day.

We certainly don’t lack for production
