I like the guy and if he had a legit shot he should compete but this is one of those times when your choice of poison is either Hemlock or Cyanide.
Cuomo is a POS but compared to Mamdami you can at least stomach him better. Mamdani scares the hell out of me because he's a smooth talking SOB that looks good on camera and idealistic idiots are following this grifter and if he somehow has a successful term as Mayor his movement can spread like a damn virus.

The only reason I can think of why Sliwa stays in this race is because the worse things become, the more money his organization makes. That makes him a grifter of sorts

Muslim population is NYC is high. It is about like London. I'm not sure if there is another large city in the US where this would happen.

The thing that worries me is I'm reminded of how BHO was a similar young, good on camera guy with a ton of charisma and had a golden oratory that had the crowds swooning and he took off like wildfire and I could see the SOB doing the same thing.
