I have the same question and have needed an answer yesterday.

Don’t tell me melatonin, Advil PM, or magnesium.

Warm milk?

Indica gummies 1/2 gummy an hour bf bed.
ETA: hydration can do wonders too.

Make sure it’s indica and make sure it has a buffer of CBD. I had issues with the straight indica.

Pretty much any OTC sleep med will make you feel like crap the next day in my experience. You could go with melatonin and magnesium glycinate.

There’s quite a bit of prescription meds that might be useful. Trazodone is my go to, and usually knocks me out for 7 hours if I get in a bad pattern

I strongly recommend Sleep3. I’ve struggled with sleep for over three decades and have found it the most effective. Not much, if any, hangover. It’s just herbs and shite. Costco sells a large bottle at reasonable cost.

Have you tried eating earlier, avoiding caffeine and sugar, and doing some form of exercise in the late afternoon/early evening?

Hard physical activity and good sleep hygiene works for about 97% of people.

Drinking coffee at 2:30, eating a greasy arse pizza at 8:30 and watching tv until 11 isn’t good sleep hygiene. Don’t do that

This, plus not dicking around on your phone in bed, have a sound machine or fan playing white noise, and blackout curtains or a sleep mask.

Window unit set at 65.

Reading a book under an actual incandescent bulb (not an LED) or saying a Rosary works great for me.
