Preferably in the deep Ellum area near Terry Blacks. Getting brunch there around 10 on Saturday then plan to hunker down for CFB for a few hours. Storing our luggage nearby so preferably we could walk from TBs to wherever we wanna watch sports.

Food not a huge concern because we will probably have just eaten $100 worth of BBQ. Mostly concerned about a solid number of TVs. Plan to hang there until our hotel in Fort Worth is available to us.

The reason we are stopping in Dallas first is my brother is a huge hockey fan and wants to check out the stars arena/team store for some gear.

Not enough details for me to render an opinion. Let's start with what you plan to order at Terry Black's, and then we'll take it from there.

I was just there last year. Same location. Got a full meal for $70. So I feel ok.

Brisket, pork ribs, sides. A sweet Mexican coke.

Really just need somewhere with lots of tvs to drink for the next few hours after that until around 3.

There is a place on lower Greenville that a lot of young people go to watch games (or be social). Idk the name, but I know it fills up early on Saturdays.

Depends on your vibe but Backyard is a good bar to watch college football in Deep Ellum. Has a ton of TVs and Big Screen projectors. Decent food

If you are going to American Airlines I would stay around there. Deep Ellum ain't what it used to be. Happiest Hour is a good spot near the arena.

I think it’s Christie’s.

This place confuses me. Did it peak on the gentrification swing and start going back down?

Anyway from what I’ve seen, I wouldn’t walk around there after night. I’ve thought about ubering to the front door of that concert hall. The deep ellum videos I see on social media kinda scare me.

Yep has to be talking about Christies.

If you're hellbent on staying in deep ellum, Backyard might be your best option? Not really a traditional divey "sports bar" but it has some very big screens for games and lots of other TV's. It's probably been 5 years since I've been there so take what I say with a grain of salt.

I've heard Cosm is pretty cool. Expensive to get into though.

Deep Ellum is fine during the day. You might have to tell some bum to go frick himself, but ain’t no thing.

Sun goes down, it is not a place to be, as you might catch a stray bullet from some targeted murder of a drug dealer at a night club.

There is a place called Kanvas Social near Terry Blacks. Might be alright. There is also a new spot that has a surf pool with a huge patio. They have TVs outside, bar inside. Might be dead, might be bumping. It’s a cool spot, probably fail though as the marketing effort isn’t there. Good Surf.

There has been a few shootings/murders in Deep Ellum this year. There are definitely other areas of DFW I'd spend my time in.

No one cares about this. In the future, please be brief and no extraneous information in your posts.

Thank you
