Standing in line to board a flight

I’m always boarding group 1 (United status). As long as you’re 1 or 2 you’re pretty much gauranteed an overhead spot. Why do MFers line up so early.
Flight is over an hour from taking off. 30 minutes from ‘boarding’. Most likely longer and there’s already 3 dipshits forming a line. Seats are pre assigned.
What gives?

When I have a small bag and a good seat, I like to be the last person to board.
This is just their preference. They are probably the same types who sit when the bell dings after landing. Those sitting types post about people like me who cannot wait to get out of that awful seat and just stand on solid ground.

With your status you should be sitting in the United Club and not leave until 5 minutes before boarding time. That is what people who actually travel a lot do. I know as I used to fly every week.
Why are you at the gate so early looking at the people lining up? I honestly don't think anything you type on here is actually true....

That doesn't bother me NEARLY as much as all the frickfaces who immediately stand up after the plan lands, they grab their shite out of the overhead bins, and just stand there for 15 minutes waiting for the door to open. It doesn't affect me at all, but it irritates the shite out of me. Like wtf do they expect to gain by standing and immediately grabbing their shite, only to stand there holding their shite for 15 minutes before being able to walk off?

What sort of Fortune 500 ‘executive’ is herded into the cheap seats of a sardine can a couple times a week and claims to stay in a holiday inn 3 out of 4 weeks out the month?

I almost always stand at my gate, especially before long flights. Blood clots in the legs are the silent killer.

Worst is the people who don't stand up until it's their turn to get up even though they still have to get their shite in the overhead compartment. I want to get off, but I have to wait while some weakling struggles to get their bag down.
