This season has gone better than I thought it would so far

I may get downvoted for this thought idk, but hear me out. I knew we’d suck. I was fully prepared to be winless or 1-5 at this point. I didn’t think we’d even be competitive in any of these games with the exception of the Giants.
Yes the first couple games were duds but starting with the bills game it looks like we’re kinda starting to get some stuff figured out. I think we made a great hire with Kellen Moore and Rattler is actually starting to look like he can at least steer the ship through the tank phase and not make me want to shoot myself every week, which I’m not sure is necessarily a good thing or not.
Yes this year will still suck. Next year will likely suck too. But if we get ourselves out of cap hell and hopefully rid of Loomis I think we’ll be heading in the right direction sooner rather than later.

Moore is doing the best he can with Rattler
6 td's in 6 games is not going to cut it
only thing Rattler is doing is not making it worse

I’ve been saying this season is about 3 things:
1) Play young players & find out who will be a part of the future
2) Figure out if we have "the guy" at QB (either of them)
3) Coaching development ... Build culture & schemes
I’d honestly say we’re doing well in all 3 at this point. We’ve had some young guys playing and showing up, Rattler is better than expected, and the scheme seems to be holding up and guys are bought in

I’d like to but honestly we also just have to trust that Moore will make the right call on this. they’re working with Shough behind the scenes still. If he’s ready he’ll get a chance.
I think it would cause an uproar to throw him out there now. I’d guess that an opportunity will come that makes more sense later…like an injury to Rattler or a poor stretch of games

I would think so, but if rattler keeps improving, who knows? Rattler looks like a couple weapons away from being pretty good.

Kellen Moore was Loomis's last HC hire.
Ideally the hire works out and the Saints are back to being a competitive team by 2027 or 2028 then he retires/moves on to some other role in the Benson organization.
If the Saints are still picking in the top 5 in 2027 or 2028 then Loomis gets fired or is allowed to save face by stepping down and the new GM starts over.
Just my theory but now that Thomas Dimitroff is in the house it could be a plan to have him take over when Loomis leaves. Whatever you think of him he put together some good teams in Atlanta and should have had a SB if it had not been for suspect coaching. IMO

My god you rattler cocksuckers are unbelievable. Do you realize how many paases hes missed this season so far? At least 3 for tds. Yet yall blame the others. Have you realized how many INTs he should have but lucky for us the defense cant catch.

Loomis isn't going anywhere. I can't stand the guy and wanted him gone eons ago, but he is dug in like an Alabama tick.
