Sonny Jurgensen
Fran Tarkenton
And I know he’s not very old but Julius “Dr. J” Erving. I think it’s because from the footage I’ve seen of him, it makes it look like he played in the 1950s.

Marv Levy recently turned 100.
That dude was old when he lost 4 straight Super Bowls 35 years ago and he's still kickin'.

With Willie Mays and Hank Aaron passing away in the past few years, Koufax has to be the one truly legendary baseball player who is still alive, right?

Johnny Bench and Carl Yastrzemski are still alive I think. But Koufax probably the most legendary.

If anyone has come close to kicking ALS’s arse it’s Gleason.

Thanks.
I thought Yastrzemski was a younger than 86 so I didn’t include him, but at that age he definitely counts.
Bench is still young enough imo for me to not count him for another few years (only from an age standpoint; his resume is damn near perfect).

A little trivia on Yastrzemski that I read recently. Yaz attended Notre Dame on both a baseball AND basketball scholarship…… I didn’t know he was.also a good basketball player. He left after his Freshman year to join the Boston Red Sox.

Hell, in the same vein as Cousy, throw in Bob Pettit.
