Hispanics moved in next door to me... Update Pg. 7: I ain’t lying’…

I seek the wisdom of the OT. Let me catch y'all up to speed.

My neighbor of many years moved out and put their home up for lease. For the last few years it was a young couple working on becoming doctor's with the LSU Oschner facilities. The house is middle class 2000ish sq feet. Rent is $1800/month.

They moved out a few months ago and just last week we saw a uhaul backed into the driveway. My wife and I were interested to meet the new neighbors...

One day last week I see this Latina women with a young kid in the yard. Maybe it's the neighbor, maybe it's just a baby sitter.

Sunday my son is throwing the football with a couple of other neighborhood kids in the front yard and my daughter is riding her razor scooter up and down the sidewalk 1 house either side of mine.

Through the window on a periodic kid check I see the Latina woman and her kid again and they seem interested in the other kids playing. They were just kind of lingering around watching as if they were waiting for the kids to ask the new kid to play.

I go outside to throw something in the trash and wave at her from across the yard. She waves back, so I start that way to introduce myself and the kids. Suddenly she back tracks to her door as I approach and only mutters "nice to meet you" in a thick hispanic accent. "That's weird." I think to myself.

Oh well, I'm a pretty standard OT'r. 6'1", 225 lbs of pure muscle so I chalk it up to her being intimidated by my large size.

I see another neighbor in his garage across the street, so I walk over to see if he has seen the new neighbors or met them. We talk for about 10 minutes and the hispanic lady comes out again with the child. I'm like, "There she is!" to the neighbor.

About that time my wife walks out to throw something away, it was trash day the next morning, and she spots the new neighbor.

We are in scout mode across the street and we watch the interaction obscured by some bushes. My wife waves, the new neighbor waves, my wife starts that way across the yard and again the lady retreats to her home avoiding my wife. My wife is also your typical OT'r, 5'2', 110 lbs 34 C's with an apple bottom. So stature was not a factor.

I told this story to some legal Venezuelans I know and they seem to think she is illegal and avoiding any contact as a result. But how did they get approved for the home? $1800 plus bills is not cheap ghetto where I would expect an illegal to take up residence.

Is she being held against her will? Are they squatting?

She had on the same red skin tight yoga pants and black halter top both days I saw her. I would guess she is in her mid 20's with a young son.

No bullshite, this is pretty close to what she looks like...



So what am I dealing with here?
