Getting dark at 5 PM during the winter sucks, and studies show it elevates depression and other issues.

Is the EO to give us more daylight in the winter or the usual dark at 5PM?
More daylight means that weekday golf in the afternoon doesn't have to end in a few weeks!

Daylight savings is why I have daylight afterwork. When they say suspend, do they mean make it permanent? On 11/2/25, we return to standard time and the clocks will fall back an hour and we will lose our afternoons. F-that.

If the goal is more daylight in the afternoon/evening, then it wouldn’t be suspending Daylight Savings Time. It would be suspending Standard Time.
