I wonder if Woodward has one for BK? Not advocating for his firing, I’m just curious.

I think that's pretty standard because it made news that Charlie Weis did not have an offset and could double dip.

Remember Charlie Weis’ tenure as the Gators OC for Coach Boom?

Standard coach's contract. A&M not having offset language in Jimbo's contract was the aberration. Not sure if that was on Woodward or Bjork giving him the extension.

Sounds like the offset is one thing but the requirement to seek other employment is quite another. Not sure how that can be enforced.

That’s literally in every coach’s contract. That’s not an interesting wrinkle.

How do you enforce any contractual obligation?

It’s vague though

When people got unemployment in the 80's, they had to go around to businesses applying for jobs. They didn't have to get a job, but they had something they took around asking business owners to sign it, to prove they were out looking for work. Some would just come in and ask if you would sign it without even asking if you were hiring.

It’s not that vague. No, how can you force someone to take a job?

Well yea. They still have something similar now don’t they?

How will this be enforced though?

Again, how do you enforce any contractual obligation?

Kentucky seriously screwed up with their contract language.

So what does it mean that he has to “look for” another job?

so it’s essentially a nothing clause.
