There has to be coaching changes now

After last night’s debacle, it is imperative to make coaching changes now. We need to let some guys go and we don’t need to fill those roles until after the season. Effectively, everyone on the offensive side of the ball should be fired, but instead of doing it all at once, just get rid of one person after each game. If LSU can make it to the playoffs and make a deep run to the NCG, we could, effectively, eliminate the entire offensive coaching staff.
So the question now becomes who do we replace them with through my imperative declaration? Well there’s a good chance that UGA will be moving on from Mike Bobo after this season. He would be my first call. Though there’s a good chance that he’d rather sell insurance than coach at LSU.
My second call would be to Andy Kotelnicki from Penn State. He’s responsible for developing Drew Allar and is a hot name in a lot of coaching searches though he may a,so get fired after this year.
What are your thoughts for the new coaching staff on offense? We cannot get more of the same. Please keep that in mind.

I think we'll fire Sloan and Davis after the season.

Now? LOL, you know that’s not happening

There will be no coaching changes during the season. This is a question one should ask “after” the season.

You suggest hiring 2 guys that will be fired at the end of the season…..brilliant

Yes, I agree. We should focus our search on coaches getting fired.

I agree but it would screw with what little consistency we have. Kelly is not a very good coach . NO one should get paid that kind of money and have the resources he does and be a coach at LSU with the product he puts on the field. IMO

I saw some nice play calls that were screwed up by the players.

I wouldn’t hire Bobo to be the ball boy. You call Shannon Dawson at Miami. He is a great OC. Runs the ball with ability to coach QB. He grew up an LSU fan and is from Clinton,La.

Your first call should be to your AA sponsor.

I'll agree there are some coaching issues.
That said, it is ultimately up to the players to execute correctly. Glaring examples from last night include the fumble at the goal line and Nuss throwing an interception (also at the goal line) on an RPO when he is responsible for recognizing the coverage.
Bottom line is the players on offense must play better!

It’s one thing for an interim to do this. It’s extremely rare in-season. Guys may get demoted or have play-calling duties taken from them, and I’m sure things happen internally that we never hear about, but you don’t fire two guys on the same side of the ball mid-season. It will happen after.
Second- Frank isn’t going anywhere. You don’t fire a guy with his connections in LA. NIL aside, he still matters to a lot of people, especially HS football coaches. It would be a mistake to push him out unnecessarily. And I say that because RB coaches aren’t critical to implementing the offensive scheme or game planning. It’s traditionally a position more focused on recruiting than on-field impact.

What play was it that caused an EZ fumble?

Sloan, Davis, Hankton...all need to go.
LSU has to get a real OC...then a new QB. Nussmeier is joke. 5th year Senior? He's as bad as Myles Brennan.
Hopefully we can keep Houston in the fold...if not, there will always be transfers willing to go to LSU.
This season is a disgraceful performance.

Mike Bobo? He’s worse than Sloan by a large margin!

We ran for 6 ypc and gave up zero sacks. The Nuss INT and Johnson fumble were the debacle. The offensive coaching was the best it’s been all year last night.

I remember my favorite time to be a fan was growing up. No internet, not so many experts to tear apart wins and show why they should have lost. I remember being happy to hear that LSU won, often reading it in the Sunday paper. The first goal was bowl eligi, then a good bowl, then the Sugar Bowl, if Tulane didn't spoil it. Now the bar is so high, especially after 2019.
Imagine being an Iowa Hawkeye fan.
