LSU is a decent defensive team, perhaps even great. LSU is an awful offensive team lead by really bad line play, horrible QB play and terrible play calling. The offense, at this point, cannot be fixed with this personnel and the offensive staff.

What does that mean? Probably at least three more losses. It’s hard to imagine wins versus Texas A&M and Bama.

Vandy and OU are likely toss-ups.

I think 9-3 is ceiling. 8-4 is likely.

This, with a Top 5 expenditure on both player and coaching expense, is totally unacceptable.

Finally, Kelly said judge him in year 4. Well, just like a team is what it is in October, a coach is what he is in year 4. Kelly will never win big at LSU. He was a very expensive, poorly thought out investment.

No, the defense is very, very good. You could tell during the Florida game how our season was going to work. Even the best defenses can’t stay on the field the entire game. Our offense is and will be occasionally OK, always sloppy, and very often bad, very bad.

$57 million dollars will get get you another coach. I hear Billy Napier might be free after this year and might be ready to work for a lower salary and he has Louisiana ties and talks, walks and thinks like us. He has even coached in this state in a school just 54 miles from BR.

Eh, we’ve seen teams turn it on and get hot later. You can still get better throughout the year.

Ohio State and Florida last year comes to mind.

4 years in and this roster is full of holes and the coaching staff on offense sucks. Every year under Kelly has one side of the ball that is one of the worst in the ncaa.

The good news is that BK's teams don't follow that rule. They have the ability to improve the entire season because they start out so sloppy.

I think we beat Vandy, and A&M willl decide the fate of this team.

I wouldn’t say “ horrible QB play”. I believe that’s a bit unfair. Nuss made some good throws last night. It was just the 2 or 3 that were the head scratchers but for the most part his play was not horrible.

LSU rushed for 168 last night and was in control of the game for almost the entirety of the game.

I’d say LSU improved greatly from October 1st to October 11th. Still a lot of time to continue to improve, including a bye week in 3 weeks.

The defense is above average but not superior. The offense is dreadful. Nussmeier, to remind everyone, is a 5th year senior. He makes some of the most idiotic/insane/inexplicable decisions. His father coaches pro QBs for heaven’s sake, but Garrett plays stupid. Makes no sense to me.

I'm not going to be surprised if we get beat by 10 pts @Vandy next weekend. This is not a good football team.

It’s very hard to imagine a win at Tuscaloosa. While I think A&M is a better team than LSU, it’s not that hard to imagine LSU winning that game.

5-1 and 2-1 in the SEC. I will take it. Great stability for our program. Still alive for playoff run. OL is shaky but there is plenty of young talent that can improve with experience.

Its year 4 of BK and he is yet to field a complete team at LSU. If the O is good the D is terrible, or vice versa. The reality is that Kelly is to blame for LSU not having a SEC caliber OC and OL Coach. Y’all can keep blaming the skill players, but the OL is terrible and the play calling is worse.

He was a good choice as a solid, CEO type to right the ship.

Vandy and OU are likely toss-ups.

Every game is a toss up. Even Alabama.

A&M defense isn't very good so that will be another test similar to Ole Miss.
