Somebody shot themselves in the leg on LSU’s campus

This was near the Sugar Kettle/Rocket. The gentleman discharged the firearm into his leg and attempted to throw the gun away. Cops arrived and performed first aid, guy was arrested and put in an ambulance. LSU/BR finding new and exciting ways to achieve new lows.

A couple of years ago I had a few family members down at Gulf Shores. Two were in the pool, the other was sitting under an umbrella on the beach reading a book when a shot rang out and a girl about 15 feet to her right started screaming. She had been shot in the leg and all hell broke loose. The closest condos went into lockdown with many of the guests locked outside. Police showed up and started canvassing the area and working to search people for reentry to the condos.
Long story short, an idiot on a fourth floor balcony was "cleaning" his pistol, trying to get sand out of it. It was loaded, and he wound up firing off the shot that hit the girl. He ran and hid the gun in a garbage can, his friends covered for him. They caught up with him after his brother cooperated by telling police where he was after he called him.
Anyway, never underestimate the ability of an idiot with a gun to frick shite up.

I mean have you seen the demographics on campus these days? A bunch of folks getting bull shite degrees thinking they going to work for USAID contractors.

Since they still have not announced the racial makeup of the fall 2025 freshman class I am starting to think it’s 40% or more black along with a record amount need based grants and scholarships from fed, state, LSU, and other.
