Go back and watch some of those press conferences. The astronauts were so uncomfortable discussing the moon landings. Why haven’t we been back in over 50 years with all of our technological advances. I still don’t believe we have the technology to make it through the Van Ellen radiation belts.

Why would we? The only reason we went in the first place was because it had never been done and it was the Cold War. It’s been done, and the Cold War is over. There isn’t a practical reason to go back.

How’d they do it the first time then?
And yes, astronauts went to the moon. If it’s a hoax, there are plenty of people/entities that were/are adversarial to the US government that would A) Surely have proof of the hoax by now and B)Have every reason to make that proof very public.
That hasn’t happened so there is no hoax.

The moon is a hologram projected from secret locations on earth. Moonbeam? Yes, but not from orbit to earth. From earth to orbit. The projectors are being maintained during what we call new moon phase.

The whole moon landing debate (not that it really is one) shows how education in the US has failed.
Miserably.
We have a subset of society that are imbeciles who can’t add to the achievements of this great country so they do the only thing the can which is to tear down the achievements of others.
The conspiracy theory loons fit squarely into this category.
