Can ESPN fire this guy already? It's embarrassing at this point. LSU needs to cut ties.

Why would they fire someone who does exactly what they want?

He’ll be apologizing for this in time as well.

I knew he would. I don't know why he even made the apology. I guess he was forced to, but why do they keep him employed then.

Just came out that Lacy was doing 88 mph in the 40mph speed limit before crash. Will he crawfish again?

I bet he'll conveniently miss that information. Dude is acting like an emotional schoolgirl over this situation, big loud reactions to every news nugget that drops instead of just waiting for the full story. Really unprofessional.

Nothing anyone says will bring back the crash victim or the suicide victim

We will never know if lacy would have been vindicated but had he let the legal process play out he likely serves minimal time if any based on the evidence

Speed = Distance / Time

88t=216 feet
T= 216/88
2.5 seconds to travel 72 yards.

A controlled study in 2000 (IEA2000_ABS51. pdf) found average driver reaction brake time to be

2.3 seconds

You can’t divide feet by miles without converting one to match the units of the other. You did the same with hours and seconds. First convert mph tp feet per second, then you can do that math.

88 miles is 462,880 feet. One hour is 3600 seconds. So 88 mph is 462,880/3600 = 128.58 feet/sec.

Now, 216 feet/128.58 feet/sec = 1.68 seconds

I didn’t check the math, but that’s the way to do it.
