Miller - 80.2; 4/48 among HB
AK - 57.6; 40/48 among HB

Do we trust PFF? If so, we need a change

AK been dropping passes. But we've refused to throw a screen to him. We've just run him up the middle.

PFF has some value, but it is evaluation done in a vacuum. Jim Mora's "You think you know but you really don't know" definitely applies to them because they don't have access to the overall gameplan or the specific play design on each play to be able to do a fully useable grade. What they can do is get you in the ballpark most of the time.

AK looks done. As much as it was great for the FO to give him that contract.
He isnt anywhere near the player he was in 17.

Dude was electric at hitting seams anywhere on the field and taking it to the house.

Havent seen that in him at all the past 2-3 years.

I guess I'm coming around on PFF some

but they don't tell you what they're grading how they're grading and why they are grading a certain way

it's like okay here's our grade no further analysis needed thank you very much

Edit: I will give them this though they are unbiased.

It's just I can't help but be skeptic because they don't give you the how and the why or any explanation. It's just one grade.

This may be the dumbest thing ive ever read on here. So a RB in 2025 isnt near the player he was 8 years prior fresh out of college. Umm DUH

I agree with a lot of what you said but this is absolutely not true. They have their favorites and their not-so-favorites, and their analysis can be as ill-informed as any analysis from a national media outlet trying to fully evaluate 32 teams at once when evaluating just 1 takes real coaches hours.

AK still has a little juice but his tank is starting to run empty. I hope he retires a Saint because if you trade him the very best you will get back is a 4th and probably mire like a 5th. I’d rather see him go out like Jordan but Miller definitely deserves playing time.

As a Saints fan who drafted AK paying special attention to plays where he gets the ball, sadly here to inform you this is dead on. I’ve already given up on starting him weeks ago

Miller takes away a ton of opportunities already anyway. AK will never be elite again

2026 will be his last year. He will retire as a Saint.

I trust my eyes.

AK is still a dog. But he’s slowing down.

KM is also a dog and way more hungry. He plays very similar to AK. Except he is more physical between the tackles but has less burst than AK outside the tackles.

Just be grateful that AK is not a selfish player. He will be fine with Millers transition this season to RB1.

We’re loaded at running back.

He has almost 300 rushing yards and 17 receptions. Far from toast.

Hating on AK is so stupid. The Saints are in the top 15 in rushing yds. Not too bad.

If running the ball is an issue it’s bc of the oline. Not bc of AK or KM.

He’s not the starter. He’s only showing us what he has when Kellen puts him in. It’s trending upwards quickly. Are you not watching the games? Do you not see the passing of the torch?

He has 38 carries on the season. Averaging 4.3 yds a touch.

Use your eyes. He’s gonna be that guy.

AK is the all time leading rusher in franchise history. People that want to trade him or sit him have not really considered what type of long term effects those actions would have on the franchise's credibility and ability to attract free agents. AK has earned the right to be treated with respect and dignity.
