In response to a question, he said that the starting outfield of Brown, Curiel, & Stanfield is "not a Fall experiment, it's the starting outfield next season". Stanfield knew this before announcing he was coming back, so the switch was never an issue. Curiel said he's up to 194, from ending the season last year in the mid 170's. Has not lost any speed. Gavin Guidry is back to his "old self". Players' interviews on YouTube now, Curiel & Casan Evans.

Who’s the 4th outfielder next year? Harden or is Patrick good enough to take the spot?

He didn't get into any backups in the outfield. 3 of the 4 position players' spots are open. Evans said that Brown, one of his roommates, is working harder than ever, with a goal of winning the Golden Spikes award.

Who was the pitcher he was talking about that was being ramped up when he was talking about Gausman? You can’t hear the questions sometimes which is annoying

Gavin Guidry was that pitcher. And the volume of the questions is horrible.

Very blessed. We made the best possible decision on who would replace Paul, Jay is one of the smartest minds in the college game. LSU is basically the only job he would have left Arizona for. And he's only 48, and never leaving. We've already seen the results. 2 national championships in 4 years, and counting. Thank you Jay

Or we lose a road series in April, or another team beats us out for #1... that's TD for you.

Being from NC, I was fully expecting Duke to hire Josh Jordan as their new head coach. Jay basically said "I think he's ready to be a head coach, but I want to keep him, because he's so good." Duke ended up hiring the Wake Forest pitching coach, who is also a good choice, and that means Jay keeps the same coaching staff as last year.
