Just dropping into to say this was a homerun pick and dude is dominating. Beyond impressive on film.

And a lot of people were crying about it. You build teams from the inside out.

The coaching staff said everything I needed to know about him when they started him and rarely chip to his side.

There's literally no way "most" here would be positive about anything saints related.

He's been awesome.

He'll be a cornerstone for a decade.

I think more people were pissed off (rightfully so) about the amount of draft capital we already had invested in the o-line. It stopped up from being able to draft a much needed playmaker (like Tyler Warren who I really wanted there). So people were probably a little pissy initially (I don’t remember if I was or not, but I probably was).

But I think everyone has been pleased with his play.

I haven't watched any games this year but highlights, but from the lack of negative comments this year, i would say he's doing great.

we need more future mid round picks to get cheap guards and a center to mix in the OL for the future.

Not just on here but plenty of people I know were mad that they didn't draft a QB I was happy with the pick. A good offensive line is a must.

I think most people knew the pick was needed, but some pointed out that the saints have had a lot of 1st round olineman not pan out recently. Which is honestly a fair thing to point out. I guess they can’t all be busts tho right lol

LT, DE, QB or CB. These are the hardest guys to find and what you should be taking if you are picking early in the 1st. I believe the only positions you should deviate for are if a generational DT or WR is there.

I would argue CB goes into the "generational" part. Most value area easily the 3 you said: LT, DE, and QB. You could actually make an argument an elite WR is more valuable than even LT these days - considering elite guys like Jefferson, Chase, and Lamb are paid more than the highest paid LT
