Sen. Dick Durbin flat out lied while in a Senate Committee hearing. Why didn't Bondi immediately charge him?
Durbin lied to a Senatorial Committee.

The bad thing is one of them take an oath during a senate hearing. Only those testifying at the hearings. The senators lie all the time.

They have passed laws allowing them to lie.
Comey is not covered by those laws.

He’s been lying about his service record for years. Why should he cave?

As the old saying goes, if you lie to a politician, it is called perjury. If a politician lies to you, it is called politics.

No. The worst place on earth to get honesty is from member of Congress on the floor of Congress.
It's the craziest rule that congressional witnesses have to be sworn in to tell the truth to Congress, but Congress members can lie all day long in their official capacity and their is no recourse to hold them legally accountable.

Senators can lie. They aren't obliged to be accurate.
