That’s the only way forward.

The OL is atrocious. Can’t run block. Can’t pass protect. Hell they can’t protect against a 3 man front.

If Nuss can’t be mobile and make plays with his feet then you make a change to someone that can.

If you are being paid $9+ million to coach this team and are just going to keep the status quo because it’s Nuss then you are fine with not giving your team the best chance to win.

The development/play of the OL personnel from what you thought you had in spring and summer to the reality of what they are and the skill set of the QB1 you currently have dictates a change is needed.

Sorry Nuss

Do we have any back-ups from that area on the roster?
I was a huge JaMarcus Russell fan.

I have a feeling you think MVB is more mobile than he actually is.

Can’t be any less than the Nuss bus.

Not saying MVB is Michael Vick, but he does appear to have some athleticism that Nuss doesn’t have or is to hurt to show.

He’s definitely more athletic than Nuss.

I mean you're saying he will cure the offensive line

There is no cure. Eventually even the mobile QB will get shut down

If that theory is true why do mobile QBs get sacked the most?

Do you really think... The powers to be and the coaching staff is going to sit a fifth year senior quarterback? Nope.
Their pride is in the way too much!!

It could help and would not hurt.

An offensive line is almost half of an offense. There is no cure for a bad offensive line.

He's definitely more mobile than Nuss. Maybe MVB doesn't always choose to run with the football, but at least he doesn't choose to NOT run when he has 15-20 yards of open green in front of him

How can 3, 4 and 5 star o linemen be considered bad players. Did they magically lose their talent since high school or another college if they transferred.

Do the sacks offset the rush gains, first down scrambles, and a threat the defense has to committ manpower to? Do they take into consideration the entire secondary skill set they lean towards before a throw away vs killing a play by throwing it away?

7 upvotes, no downvotes, good lord.

0 critical thinking skills, bravo people.

As Donald Rumsfeld once said:

A loss to South Carolina. Kelly's seat may become butt-searingly hot and he might voluntarily take retirement if that happens, like Spurrier did ten years ago.
