Rattler did what he does… didn’t do anything that would lose us the game but also wasn’t the reason we won today. His performance was on par with all his previous starts.
Defense just made game winning plays and answered the bell every single time the offense couldn’t put them away.
I don’t hate Rattler. I think he is an average NFL QB who will need an elite roster to win games.

Exactly, I am happy for Moore and Spencer……but the problem is that now Moore can’t very well make the switch following a W

My calling for Shough is less to do with rattler and more to do with needing to see what we have for the future.
One win against the shitty giants doesn’t change the fact we still need a QB for the future.

Yep, it’s time to give Shough the reigns…..that way there is enough runway to really evaluate him before the offseason

You’ve had 11 games, 5 with Moore at the helm with Spencer. Let him get a couple more and see where we are at. If we are suddenly 4-4, I guess you roll with Spencer, but I doubt we will be.
Give Shough the reigns at the halfway point. I think Rattler is our backup, can keep on the roster for years to come. But need to see Shough.

You do realize Rattler is a full year younger than Shough right? So if all things were equal why the hell would we want to develop an older guy with zero experience when we actually put time and effort into a younger guy regardless of draft position. Answer that. If Kellen Moore thinks a leftover guy on his roster beat out his self appointed draft pick, is that not good enough for you??

I think Rattler should get a few of the easier teams to get a better idea. I said after 8 games if it’s real bad, then Shough should start.
Deep down I kinda hope Rattler keeps him glued to the bench. That way, zero percent chance this front office takes another qb early next draft. Another year of watching may help Shough.

I’m a fan of Rattler. I’m glad we won but there is room for improvement. Rattler is not making enough plays …he is getting better though. However, they scored only 26 points today…the defense scored 7 of those! They had 5 turnovers!!! And still only 26 points to show for it! Should’ve easily scored more than 30.

This is completely fair. He's still a young QB learning the pro game and red zone execution is so much harder than anywhere else on the field and that goes for every NFL team so think it's important to point that out. Also when throwing a TD, it takes another player making a play too and that really hasn't happened much either. Looking at you Juwan.
