We could go 3-0 in the next 3 (we probably are favored in at least 2) or can go 0-3.

NIL era has made the field so much more even. There isn’t a dominant program in the SEC and while we sucked a big egg las weekend, we also could easily be 5-0.

Long season and while I’m not confident our offense turns it around, our defense is good enough that we can potentially make some noise. Geaux Tigers

idk every season there tends to be 2-3 elite teams. The SEC usually had one in alabama, UGa, UF or LSU but this year most of college football is down, honestly MIami and alabama look like the two best teams right now though I wouldnt go and say every year going forward is going to be like this year.

The new era has nothing to do with our lack of physicality or inability to run the ball. We still have one of the most talented rosters in college football this year.

we can still get beat by BAMA and OU but we may get lucky against vandy or TAMU because from what i saw today

PAvia shite the bed with 2 TOs that cost them the game. he could shite bed against us also.

TAMU looks like warmed over dogshit. pass game wise. marcel reed does not look good passing. they are running the ball well tho

these 2 teams may just outsuck us when we play.

arky may be revived with petrino when we play.

who knows.

but we have ZERO locks other than W kentucky.

Sure anything's possible, I do think we have the athletes to make a run but i dont know if we can get it together on offense this year. I'm not as high on Tamu or vandy really, Vandy has a good QB and coaching but not the horses to be a top team, Tamu has a qb that can make a play but makes a lot of mistakes and they dont seem to have a complete team IMO. Bama just looks very big, physical and athletic to me, they are going to be very tough to beat IMO.

Its more like nfl now.

These kids having lots of money making them complacent. There are let down weeks. For a century it was must win every week. Its doesnt matter as much with the extended playoff.

On balance, NIL is not good for us.

Our natural recruiting footprint was probably top-5. We didn't need NIL to be among the most talented teams.

NIL may have not hurt us but not sure it helped us more than others.

teams who had better in state talent or more recruiting "funds" and better recruiters got the better players. This NIL crap has created NFL type parity now.

now there is no salary cap. spend all you want

This. I’m not a big fan of government getting in the middle of ncaa football, but something has to be done about NIL.
