What is LSU doing with this? Faulk is the player that changed LSU's fortunes, possibly the biggest recruit in the recent history of the program. I hope that the people in charge don't wait to do this as long as they did with Charles Alexander.

He helped change the course of the entire program.. Louisiana kids started staying home after his commitment and career. All eyes on 3!

Billy Cannon:
Last Played: 1959
Inducted into Tiger Stadium "Ring of Honor": 2008 (49 years)

Tommy Cassanova:
Last Played: 1971
Inducted into Tiger Stadium: 2009 (38 years)

Jerry Stoval:
Last Played: 1962
Inducted: 2018 (56 years)

Charles Alexander:
Last Played: 1978
Inducted: 2025 (47 years)

Kevin Faulk:
Last Played: 1998

If we're going by history, don't expect induction any earlier than 2036 and more likely 2040-something.

Personally, I'd rather they built a statue of him punching out Jimbo's nephew.

Dalton Hilliard should have his jersey retired also. Also Bert Jones.

I dont believe in one guy changed the course of....

But this guy did. For you younger fans out there go back and watch LSU v Houston 1996. I've never seen anything like it since, one guy takes over (and wins) a football game.

Oh and a pretty decent pro career. Watch Tom Bradys speech at KFs retirement.

Put him in the ring.

Bryan Kelly got rid of Faulk as the RB coach in 2022 to start with a clean slate. And the running game has never been better.

He should be recognized x100, but we don’t need to retire more numbers.

Get off your porch and go inside geezer, the precedent has been set so they aren’t just going to stop.

Faulk’s #3
Dorsey’s #72
Burrow’s #9
Daniel’s #5

Will all be immortalized in Tiger Stadium eventually.

I fully agree that he is next up for getting his name in the stadium for the next several years. I have heard about Hilliard and Jones too, but as good as Hilliard was, don't think he was quite to the level and Jones was so under utilized, that his college career doesn't even put him close, but should have.

Maybe CBK will hire him back to help the RB’s?

That’s what he did with Blake Baker when House didn’t work out.

He 100% should be the next one with his name in the rafters, next to Charles the Great

Agreed, I don't think they will actual retire the number and that is fine, but his name should be in that stadium, and he should be honored accordingly.

Hilliard should be next followed by Faulk, Dorsey, Burrow, and Daniels in that order. If their NFL careers end up a HOF then Chase and Jefferson will be up there eventually too.

They should build a statue of Faneca, Mawae, McClure, Whitworth, and Campbell all lined up together like they were on the.line of scrimmage.

Frank Wilson is a better RB coach that Kevin Faulk. He is also a significantly better recruiter.
