every one of them should be put on the domestic terrorists watchlist.
quote:

Joshua Aaron, ICEBlock's creator, said he was "incredibly disappointed by Apple's actions today."

"Capitulating to an authoritarian regime is never the right move," Aaron said. "Apple has claimed they received information from law enforcement that ICEBlock served to harm law enforcement officers. This is patently false."

Aaron said ICEBlock, which has more than 1.1 million users, functions like other mapping applications that use crowd sourcing for speed traps, citing Apple's own map service as an example.

"We are determined to fight this with everything we have," Aaron said. "Our mission has always been to protect our neighbors from the terror this administration continues to reign down on the people of this nation."

Good.

To tell the truth, I don’t think there should be crowd sharing on speed traps either- but even still, that’s a little different than ICEBLOCK. No one is using speed trap warnings to hurt cops.

Unless they were trolls who were posting false sightings.

The admin, Pam Bondi particularly and Kash aren’t being harsh enough.

The other day saw an ice agent move a lard arse out the way of a vehicle. Since she was violating federal law she should have been taken down cuffed and jailed. Instead he just moved her.

While this is trashy and disrespectful to law enforcement, I’m not sure what valid reason Apple has to remove it.

Now that would have been a great way for heading off to Home Depot or Walmart. 1 hour before you go you drop a warning and lines would have been better

I would think Apple, as a private company, can do what they want.

This app is being used to break the law. It is also being used to harm ICE agents.

That little line makes all the difference.

If ICE is there, it has nothing to do with the people of this nation.

This is ICE's mission.

Except they are protecting us from what the Biden administration did to us.

Apple’s policies and developer agreements include language that expressly prohibits apps from being used for unlawful, harmful, or otherwise improper purposes.

So yes, Apple has full right and reason to remove an app that is being used by people to track and injure LEOs.

In fact Apple could remove it without those terms being there because they are a private company. Of course that dem will ignore that part since dems believe the gov should own everything.

If the ice block creators don’t like what Apple did I suggest getting rid of their iPhones lap tops and all other Apple devices and they can build their own and allow what they like

In my emotional heart, I want the government to get the information on all the users because most are probably illegal. However, my brain tells me that’s a slippery slope and terrible idea.

This is a slippery slope here. While I appreciate the efforts by ICE, this reeks of governmental interference with freedom of speech and private business.

Dang. I use it to clear out the illegals before I go anywhere. Works like a charm!
