I have no idea how, but I have progressive, 4 vehicles, and my cost went from 324 to 250ish per month. I only tell you all this because I've been pissing and moaning about how high it's been, so I am required to report that it went down.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Mine went up at Progressive after my first term with them and a teen driver.

Do they usually give you a good rate initially, only to jack it up at renewal?

Mine also went down the most recent 6-month cycle for Progressive. I had to do a triple take and refresh the screen.

They call do that to an extent in my experience. Then on your second/third renewal you’ll see a slight drop.

We have State Farm and were going to switch back to Progressive, but State Farm went down below what Progressive quoted. Same thing, 4 vehicles and 2 kids in college.

I didn't notice it, it only changes when we get different vehicles.

How is this possible? How old are the other drivers?

I hate their commercials, but Progressive has very attractive rates. When my house got crunched by Ida I had them, the claim was $200K and they could not have been more helpful.

But, the secret is to always buy through an agent, not direct, and ask him to shop it around every other year, they keep track of who shops.

4 vehicles and you only pay $250/month? What coverage do you have for it to be so cheap?

State Farm has been the #1 auto insurer in America for over 60 years, but Progressive has been closing the gap since Geico and Allstate nosedived. Progressive is trying to overtake State Farm and State Farm is trying to prevent it.
