Is it possible his chin strap wasn't properly secured and his helmet shifted on contact and the facemask busted his nose?
have they said how it happened?
have they said how it happened?

Maybe he didn’t have a helmet on and someone hit him with theirs

Ever play football?
Some jacked up tard always goes too hard in warm ups, you arent expecting it and get hurt.

But it wasn't football, it was warmups.
Also, I can understand if he got a broken nose because there's a rowdy/overzealous guy going too hard. But how do you get concussed?

That’s the first thought I had

These boys are all huge. What if he was adjusting his helmet, took it off and another lineman (with his helmet on) accidentally turned around, raised up and slammed him in the face. It is not really hard to imagine. I've been in a line before, leaned down to tie a shoe and accidentally raised up and hit someone in the chin. Sh#t happens. With their size and strength, I am surprised it doesn't happen more often in warmups when they are most likely to have their helmet off.

How come nobody saw it happen?
The story seems suspicious to me.

Way back in the day my friend was a freshman flanker at LSU. He tore his right knee up freshman season. At the end of his rehab he was warming up and an assistant coach was horsing around and blindsided his left knee. Tore it up. He never got to play but a full 4 year scholarship which he used to be very successful

This happened to me in high school so you know it’s possible in the more violent college game. The helmet comes down over your eyes and smashed into your nose. It’s happens fast. Next thing you know you have a gash on your nose. How common is it? I don’t know, but it definitely happens from time to time.

Showed a shot after it happened on the news tonight. He had his helmet on but has a pretty open face mask. That’s all I got.

O L Weston Davis broke his nose and got a concussion during pre game warmups and couldn’t play. I am also curious about the details on this.
