Billy Bob’s son in this show is the OT’s ideal man. Drops out of Texas Tech (presumably because of the liberal / queer indoctrination), joins the O&G industry as a hand, blows up some minorities, takes the deceased’s guys wife because he mows her lawn, etc.

Their filming crews are staged about 15 minutes from my house. A few months ago the lot was filled with filming crews and equipment and they have officers staged at the entrance of the property. The last couple of times I've driven by it's been less busy so I assume they are wrapping up the season at this point. It's a large property in my town that I guess they either leased or Sheridan bought. Pretty cool to have the film crews in this area. They all eat at local mom and pop diners around town so you'll see the actors randomly at times.
They contact home owners asking to come out and look at the property to see if they'd want to use it in filming. My parents got a request but they never used their property.
I'm ready for season 2. Been rewatching season 1 the last few days.

I love this show, I am a big fan of Billy Bob Thornton and I know I will get some disagreements with this next statement, but.. and as hot as the wife and daughter is and everything involving them, they are almost like a separate show that is obviously only part of the show for the appeal. Maybe they dial it back a little this next season.
Its like there is all of this serious shite they are dealing with in the field, then its the wife and daughter bringing stripper to the old folks home.
I did think it was funny when the engineer got in the shower when the daughter was in there and he didn't know she was in there.
And the lawyer that lives in the house with them is pretty funny especially when he is trying to avoid looking at the wife or daughter when they are running around the house in bikinis, etc.

They could have done a lot better with this casting. She is way down the list of hottest chicks on the show.

I don’t like the longer focused segments on the mom/daughter. Sort of makes the show drag a bit.
I watched the entire season on multiple United flights. I think maybe 3 flights total. Maybe finished the last episode on a 4th flight. Those were the fastest, easiest flights I’ve ever been on.

I guess I didn’t catch that as well. Was it the scene where they dealt with the guy who put Billy Bob’s kid in the hospital?
“Boss” actor was also on Joe Pickett.

Yep, before that scene when Billy Bob calls Boss, he says "You find me five thumpers that don't play on their side of the sandbox", then during the scene when they open the door Antonio is cowering in the corner with no visible marks.
When I caught that I was like Ohhhhhhhhh.
